Confident Kids Support Groups
Using a support group format, Confident Kids is especially
designed to minister to kids who:
Have Low Self Esteem -- Put Themselves Down
Make Poor Choices -- Have Experienced Divorce
Are Abused -- Feel Emotional Abandonment
Lack Confidence -- Are Having Difficult Times
Can't Relate With Others -- Live In Blended Families
Have "Bad" Attitudes -- Call Themselves Names
Can't Cope With Changes -- Have Poor Family Lives
Are Neglected -- Are Constantly Angry or Bitter
Each of us develop a belief system very early in life that is based on
both positive and negative events and relationships. Even children brought
up in the finest of Christian families, with devoted parents, may draw
some mistaken "conclusions" (or lies) about themselves and life.
The enemy, as the master of lies, wants to prey on these falsehoods to
discourage and belittle children. Confident Kids helps participants
recognize the lies, reject them, and replace them with God's truth.
While many unchurched families may not be looking for a church, they
are looking for help with their children. Confident Kids gives
churches a means of reaching families outside the body of Christ with
meaningful material that directly addresses typical family problems, as
well as ministering to church kids with practical, fulfilling, Biblical
life and relational skills.
Confident Kids Support Groups gives children emotional life
abilities that sets them on the path to bright futures. Based on the
tested truths of the Bible, the group works with parents and kids to
establish practical belief systems that will guide them through difficult
situations and give a positive outlook on life.
Confident Kids Support Groups uses eight-week units themed to
help children and their families deal with making wise choices, learning
to live in a family, facing their feelings, coping with changes and
telling themselves the truth. Both children's and parents' lives are
changed as God's Word is systematically incorporated into their belief
systems. Confident Kids Support Groups have a ten year proven track
record of helping children with negative orientations and emotional wounds
find new hope for a positive future.
